Coachee Interest Form

As part of our Midwest Regional Coaches Conference in Milwaukee, our community of coaches is offering volunteer (free!) coaching for leaders and staff working to serve the Milwaukee, WI Public Schools.

What is coaching?
Coaching is a process and partnership that helps you move from where you are presently as you design and activate the future you truly desire.
Your coach is objective, non-judgmental and an excellent listener. S/he helps you uncover the strategies and steps forward that best work for you. As with therapy, what you share with your coach is confidential; coaching is present/future focused. Unlike therapy, however, coaching sessions are intended for you to move toward fulfilling your greatest potential rather than healing from your past
As a client, you are responsible for the commitment to achieve the agreed upon action steps and for your own success as you work co-actively with your coach.

Benefits of Coaching
Become “uplifted” through your coaching experience
Gain new insights and expand possibilities
Focus on what’s most important to you
Step by step, achieve your ‘vision’ and goals you never thought possible
Optimize your inner self-trust, intuition and self-worth
Manifest your potential; influence others to do the same
Achieve more with an accountability partner

What participants can expect:
6 Coaching sessions with their individual qualified coach ( sessions via Skype, Zoom, or phone. Scheduling will be completely at the discretion the coach and client).
Each coaching session will be for 1 hour
Coach and participant will determine agreeable dates and times for phone coaching
Goals for coaching will be determined by the participant/coachee

What is required of participants (Coachees):
Commit to 6 Coaching sessions with their individual ICF coach.
Agree to be coached in a quiet, non-moving environment.
Show up on time and receive great benefit from your coaching.
Attend the project kick-off call on June 1, 2020
Complete the homework that you and your coach design between coaching
sessions.
Complete the evaluation form after coaching is completed

Who are the coaches?

Our coaches are trained coaches, having at least 60 hours of coach specific training, including being members of the International Coach Federation (ICF). Many coaches are ICF certified coaches. They do not necessarily live in the Milwaukee
area, yet are very familiar with coaching virtually. A great deal of our coaches will be attending the conference in late September.

How will we measure success?

We ask that every coach and coachee complete an evaluation of the program after the completion of their 6 coaching sessions.

You will be invited to attend a kick-off call on June 1, 2020. If you are unable to attend, a recording will be available.

Once you register, you will be thoughtfully paired with a pro bono participant from the Milwaukee Public Schools; you are also invited to a kick-off call to launch our program.

Most pairs will schedule sessions via phone, Skype, Zoom, or GotoMeeting, prior to the ICF’s Midwest Regional Conference Sept. 30-Oct.2. You and your coachee may prefer to hold one meeting in person during the conference, if it is convenient for both of you, All scheduling is decided between the coach and participant.
